Digital Twin of Saba Steel

Irasin’s Report on the Technological Leap of Sarir

According to the report published by Irasin News Agency, Sarir Sanat Tam has once again demonstrated its position as one of the leading companies in the field of industrial process digitalization and intelligent automation. The report reviews a series of strategic projects carried out in collaboration with Saba Steel and Mobarakeh Steel, which have achieved remarkable results through domestic expertise and advanced technologies.

Digital Twin of Saba Steel

Irasin highlights that one of the most important projects executed by the company was the design and implementation of a complete “Digital Twin” for the cooling section of Saba Steel’s hot-rolled production line. In this project:

  • The post-rolling cooling process was fully modeled.
  • An accurate digital twin of the cooling table was developed.
  • An AI-powered system was designed to precisely control the temperature gradient of the steel strip.

As a result, the plant gained the capability to produce advanced dual-phase steel grades (such as DP780) with significantly improved quality and added value—products that previously required multimillion-dollar cooperation with major European companies.

Intelligent Color-Coating at Mobarakeh Steel

Irasin also refers to another project carried out at Mobarakeh Steel, where advanced automation systems were developed to improve the quality of color-coated steel production. This project:

  • It was built on full localization of industrial Level-2 automation technologies.
  • It was completed at nearly one-tenth of the cost of comparable foreign solutions.
  • It was entirely customized to match the actual operational needs of the plant.

This achievement represents a significant step toward reducing technological dependence and enhancing the final product’s quality.

The Key to Success: True Localization and Deep Technology

According to Irasin, the company’s recent success is rooted in three main pillars:

  1. Focusing on strategic, low-competition industrial domains.
  2. Breaking foreign monopolies by providing competitive, lower-cost solutions without compromising quality.
  3. Combining artificial intelligence, digital twins, and Level-2 automation to reduce energy consumption and improve product quality.

The report concludes that this path demonstrates how even agile and young teams can take on national, high-impact industrial projects—provided that knowledge, technology, and execution come together effectively.
